Midland HIPs now offers a complete floor plan service.
The floor plan is an integral part of an EPC and, using hand-held PDA technology, we are able to capture all relevant detail and produce a high quality floor plan as part of the EPC onsite assessment. This ensures you receive your complete EPC even faster.
Floor plans are built up room by room on the PDA, measuring and shaping rooms as we go. A full range of building components can be added in, creating a clear and detailed plan. All measurements can be shown in both metric and imperial.
Features such as multiple floors, irregular shapes and garden plots are all provided for. In addition, property details which influence the EPC assessment such as Heat Loss Perimeters (HLP), party walls, excluded rooms and extensions are all clearly recorded as part of the survey. The end result is a highly accurate, easy-to-view plan, presented in colour.
Floor plans can then be made available as a pdf or printed out as part of the EPC report. In addition, these floor plans can be used in estate agents' particulars for a property. The plans produced are compatible will all leading back office systems used by estate agents.
